Chat
The chat that brings calm
A chat made for separated parents. Safe, clear and free of hurtful words. The BeNice chat makes room for respectful communication.
Advanced technology automatically filters out negative words and noise. Only the heart of each message is left, and agreements become clearer. Talking to each other takes less time and less energy, and things calm down again.
With BeNice, your conversations all happen in one place. No more discussions scattered across WhatsApp, e-mail and text messages, and no more endless digging for “what” was agreed “where”. BeNice keeps everything together and easy to find. That brings calm and clarity.
Coach
The coach that helps you get your message across
The Feedback Coach is built into the chat and helps you send messages that genuinely add to calm and cooperation. Before you send a message, the coach checks whether it contains insults, accusations or a negative undertone. If it does, the coach suggests a friendlier, more constructive version. You decide whether to use the coach’s wording and send it. Messages made up of nothing but accusations, or with no real content, are held back.
That way you keep the conversation respectful, avoid needless conflict and feel in control of how you communicate again.
Filter
A filter against negativity
Turn on the BeNice filter and you only read what really matters. If a message comes in with a little information but is otherwise full of insults, accusations or needless negativity, the filter takes the nastiness out for you. You read the core of the message, without the emotional noise. You can still read the original, unfiltered message if you want to. Using the filter eases tension and gives you the chance to talk without things getting out of hand. Your conversations become calmer and more focused.
BeNice Solo
A sounding board, always by your side
For every separated parent who finds contact with the other parent difficult. You now have a safe place to talk everything through, from frustrating situations to sensitive subjects you want to handle with care. You can prepare messages, practise how best to ask for something or simply put your thoughts in order. The coach reflects with you, helps you reach your goal and gives you fresh perspectives or a different approach. Even if the other parent doesn’t use BeNice, BeNice Solo gives you support and help around the clock, and an impartial sounding board.
Is the other parent not ready to use BeNice (yet)? You can still get started and enjoy the benefits. With the solo feature, you send messages from the BeNice app and they reach the other parent as e-mails. Answering is as easy as hitting reply, with no account or app needed. The answer comes back into your BeNice chat, filtered. So you no longer have to receive negative or hostile messages, and you get the other features too, such as the dedicated calendar and the coach. If the other parent wants to join later, you simply add them to your family circle and carry on together.
CheckPoint
Never forget a question again
With CheckPoint, you can always see in the chat which questions are still open. As soon as you or the other parent answers a question, it’s ticked off automatically. Chat with your personal parenting plan assistant and work your way to a draft parenting plan. You can already do this during your 7-day free trial.
You answer a series of questions from home, on your phone, whenever it suits you. You can pause along the way and pick up where you left off. Once you’ve answered every question, you get a draft parenting plan. If the other parent does the same, you can sit down together (with a mediator) and talk through both drafts. It quickly becomes clear what you already agree on and what still needs discussing.

A calendar that shows you at a glance whether the children are with you or with the other parent. When you start, you enter your parenting schedule and pick a colour.
